Club History

We started shooting on Tuesday 13th November 2001 at Lipson Community College. The club was invited to attend Have-A-Go events at Lipson Primary School and this led to other invitations to the Freedom Fields Festival, Plympton Lamb Feast and Cornwood Show.

Funding

Funding for the club to buy essential equipment like bosses, safety net, target faces, shooting equipment for beginners etc came from sending out begging letters to some of the larger companies and putting in an application to Awards For All. We received donations from DML Sports and Social Club, The Barden Corporation, Paper Converting and a substantial amount from Awards For All. This money bought the vast majority of the equipment we are using today.

Enrichment Weeks Based In Schools

In May 2009 we moved to Coombe Dean School, Elburton. Here we put on an annual Have A Go session for their Enrichment Week. We also arrange Have a Go sessions for numerous Scout and Guide groups. We have also recently been providing sessions at Hele's School, Plympton.

12 Hour Shoot Fundraiser

We have also completed a sponsored twelve hour shoot in aid of Children in Need raising £730.43 for the cause.

We are not averse to trying anything, within reason, to raise money for our club or a good cause.
